Imogens Garden Dolls

I'm just in LOVE with these little dolls. They're actually not little. But a nice sized doll. But they are a bit expensive. $150 a doll. But they're all handmade!

Look at this little face! So much detail!

Oh my goodness, they are so adorable!

You can have them customize them anyway you'd like! With a specific color of hair, eyes, and little dress!

Yup, I want to get one for Charlotte. But I've been resisting the urge to order one. Because I want to get her a doll, that somewhat looks like her. So maybe when she is a few weeks old, I'll order one. I'm betting that my daughter is going to be blond and either have green or blue eyes. I'm just saying...

Anyway, you can get these dolls at Imogens Garden. They also having smaller dolls that are less expensive. She also sells legwarmers. But these dolls, they're my favorite! H

GumDrop Pacifiers

I'm so excited! I got a big package today. When I got home from work, today was my last day by the way, I found a HUGE box on my front porch. :) And there was also another box there. Hmm, I didn't know what it could be.

Then I remembered, I had ordered from GumDrop Pacifiers. I first learned about them from my bestie. She works in L&D, the NICU, PICU, and Pediatric Departments of a hospital. So whatever advice she has for me, I take it!

My Bestie was telling me how they give these little packets of GumDrop Pacifiers to Breastfeeding Moms. Perfect! They're designed to not "confuse" babies. Because of the shape of the nipples.

My bestie gave me 3 of these "Basic Baby Bundles." Each pack has 2 GumDrop pacifiers, 1 Cuddle Square, and 1 MAM Pacifier Keeper. These are a great deal at only $10!

I originally put in the order for some GumDrop Pacifiers. They're having a deal right now. Buy 6 and get 1 free. Oh, and it comes out to $10.50. Much cheaper than the regular pacifiers I see at the store. There are 4 colors, and 2 scents.

I also ordered 6 "Cheaper Keepers." And I got 2 free. They're having a buy 3, get 1 free deal going on right now. For under $7 you get 4 "Cheaper Keepers." And they come with all sorts of stickers to use too!

These are Cuddle Squares. I had 3 from my bestie. But I liked these polka dot ones. So I got a couple more. For $6 a piece! A steal. Because each one comes with a pacifier! :)

The Soothie Nipples are supposed to be designed exactly like the pacifiers. So I had to get some. :) For when I go back to work, and Charlotte is at Daycare. They're 2 for $4.50.

And of course, I needed the Soothie Bottles to go with the nipples. For when Charlotte is at Daycare. They come in 2 packs for $4. In either 5oz or 9oz sizes. I got a few packs of both.

I also bought this blanket. It's Winnie the Pooh. And it's supposed to be a soother. It also has rattles. And was only $10. It's super soft!

The small box, it was my order. The one I put in last week. The large box, well S put in a rush order on Monday. And both orders happened to be delivered today. Charlotte got 8 Canisters of GumDrops. Yes, I said 8 Canisters. Each Canister has 25 pacifiers! What are we going to do with them all? S also got Charlotte a variety of things from GumDrop's website. I'm positive that my little girl will have everything she needs when she's born. H

Lalaloopsy Dolls

Have you ever heard of Lalaloopsy Dolls? I hadn't. Until our Baby Shower. A friend of mine got Charlotte one. So cute!

These are the 8 dolls so far. With their little animal friends. Each doll comes with an animal.

They are seriously cute! And actually pretty big. About 13 inches tall.

This is the doll that my friend got Charlotte. I just think she is so cute! And she comes with a little Zebra!

I just couldn't resist. Look at those cute pjs. And the little sheep! I bought this little one just last week. :)

These 2 are on my list. They're twins! :)

These have to be the cutest little dolls! Like I said, each doll comes with a little animal. These are like a "Modern Rag Doll." At least that is what they remind me of. They are a little pricey. About $45 for a doll. Or the 2 last ones can be bought together for $67. But I think they're a great buy. Because it's something your little girl can grow with. And the fabrics are so lush! H

I Got Them!

I had these 3 items on my "Wishlist" for what seems like forever. I just love them! If I had thought about it, Charlotte's nursery would have been done in this fabric. But look at how cute everything is!

I really wanted a Diapee. I just think they're a good product. Something that can get a lot of use. :)

And this entire set. It just makes me so happy! A Wipee case, some burp clothes, and a changing pad. All so chic!

This is definitely a must have for a breastfeeding Mommy!

Well, part of our gifts from my bestie, they included all 3 of these items. But she made them. All out of hot pink and the black and white damask fabric. So incredibly cute! And I think they'll really go well with my diaper bag. Thank you so much bestie! The ones that my bestie made, are even cuter than these ones! Is that possible? Yes, it is! H

Halloween Costumes

Halloween is less than a month away! S bought W a Halloween costume as a joke. This Superman costume. And I really like it. I even tried it on W. He didn't seem to mind it. But then again, W is a pretty laid back dog.

I can't wait to dress up W for Halloween! You know, W is "Superdog." :)

But it got me thinking. Charlotte is going to be a few weeks old at Halloween. And we live in a "Family" neighborhood. I was already planning on handing out candy. But I had forgotten about Halloween costumes. So I went looking online last night.

This is what I found for Charlotte...

I'm really in love with this little pink bunny. I know it's a little big. But this is just precious!

Sunshine Bear? Are you serious? Another really cute baby costume. And who doesn't like the Care Bears?

This sunflower is too cute! And it looks very "Newborn Friendly" too!

A Glow Worm? I'm in love! This is just a cute costume!

Now some costumes for me...

A Ladybug. I think this is nice. A good post-pregnancy costume. One that I can modify a bit to be more "Mommy Friendly."

This Bumblebee is also a nice choice. Covers up everything. And is still cute.

This Fairy/Butterfly is also a nice one. I'd would probably wear leggings with the skirt. And a long sleeve top instead of this top. You know, I'm going to be a mommy. :)

I had fun looking at all the costumes. Trying to decide on what to buy. I want Halloween to be special for Charlotte and me. It's our 1st holiday together. And I think it's important to start good family traditions early. I just want my little girl to have everything that I didn't.

So what costumes did I order? I ordered Charlotte the pink bunny. It was a little expensive. But it's going to be so worth it! I can't wait to see her all dressed up. And I got the ladybug. I figured that with some leggings and flat shoes, I'd be OK. Now all I have to do is wait on my order. And my little girl. :) H

Sugar Sweet Baby Giveaway

Just look at this Sugar Sweet Baby, Baby Wrap. Isn't it too cute? Have you noticed how much I like this Damask pattern? It's just too cute, without being overly girly. :)

You can win a Baby Wrap too! You just have to go to Baby Makin Machine and enter. Oh, I just LOVE this Baby Wrap. If I don't win it, I'm definitely going to buy it! It's $70. But I think it's well worth the money. I think both Charlotte and I would enjoy it. H

Simply Adorable!

Earlier this week, Uncle S showed up to my house, with a big 'ol bag of clothes for Charlotte. Yes, he did! All kinds of cute things. Something tells me, he bought out the little girls' department at Old Navy. :)

But this is my favorite dress!!! Isn't it adorable? I think so. And I want to take Charlotte's picture in it. I just can't wait! But I wanted to find some cute shoes to go with the dress. :)

And I found these! Aren't they adorable? I just love them! They match the pink in the dress exactly! And those little bows. Aren't they precious?

Yes, I went to Old Navy today. Why? I'm not sure. My little girl officially has 4X's as much clothing as I do! But I found a lot of cute things. These shoes are my favorites! And they we're under $10! I couldn't pass them up.

Ya, Charlotte got way more than that from her Uncle S. And I bought a heck of a lot more than just these today. But these are definitely my favorites! Now, I just need to sit and be patient. Charlotte needs to finish "cooking." And then, we will take loads of pictures in all of her cute clothes! H

Charm Bracelets

So cute! I want one of these bracelets. I've always wanted a charm bracelet. I'm considering buying myself one of these beauties. Because they're just beautiful!

I just feel like charm bracelets tell such a great story! You can add charms that mean something to you in your life. Like a ring for your wedding. Or baby booties for a new baby. A little house, car, or something like that on a big day.

I've always wanted a charm bracelet. They tell such great stories. And they're beautiful! I've looked around at Charm Factory. And I'm really tempted. But I'm going to wait until after my little girl is born. That way I can pick out some meaningful charms, to represent our life at this point. H

Diaper Bag

I finally decided on a Diaper Bag. I ogt the Kalencom Quilted Traveler Diaper Bag. I wanted something that didn't look too much like a Diaper Bag. I like the sleek and chic look of this bag. And I'm really happy with it! It's surprisingly big and room. I know that you can't tell from the picture. But it's a good sized bag. Now I just need to get some stuff to put inside. :) H

Cloth Diapers

I watched this video by CandidMommy (aka Jeni)...

And it changed my life. No...really it did! I had thrown around the idea. I talked to my bestie about it. She is all knowledge, on all things baby. She is really the reason I decided to breastfeed my little girl. And she encouraged cloth diapering. But...

Well, I was a little weird by it all. Cloth diapers? Really? I wasn't so sure. But I thought, heck why not research a bit. And I did. I'm convinced. This is what I need to do for my little princess. :)

I just bought a bunch of Fuzzi Bunz. I placed an order for 12 of the extra small and 12 of the small. Oh, I also bought some bags for the diapers. Uncle S...well he went and placed a HUGE order! And got us a Diaper Service. Local. So all things are good. And we are cloth diapering. :)

I also talked to the Daycare where Charlotte is going to go. And they were actually really supportive of the idea. I'm so glad! I think this is going to be best for my little girl. And the diapers are so cute! H

Preparing for Daycare

Now that I know where Charlotte is going to Daycare, I'm trying to get ready. Her Daycare is amazing! They are so excited about us breastfeeding and cloth diapering. A very supportive place.

I got to meet with the ladies, that are going to be taking care of Charlotte. They showed me where they are going to store my milk. And they are very excited that I work down the road. Because I'll be spending my lunch breaks with my little girl. We'll both be having our lunch together. :)

But I also got a good idea of what we'd need. I picked up some stuff. And there are still some things that I'm on the hunt for. Like bottles. You know, for when I'm working. I'm also considering some pacifiers. Things like that. But here is what I've gotten so far.

Lots and lots of Fuzzi Bunz! I know we're going to need these. And I mean lots! Like in 3 dozen just for Daycare.

And a wet bag. You know to put the Fuzzi Bunz in. I actually bought 4 different ones. But this is the one that is going to stay at Daycare.

And a diaper bag. You know to put everything in. :)

This is a really nice Daycare. And I'm so lucky to have found it. They are so excited to work with the parents. And are willing to do just about anything to make it easy on you. I'm so glad about this.

There are still some things I need to get. But being that I still have almost 3 months until my due date, I think I'm on the right track. Is there anything else that you'd recommend? H

Perfect Set!!!

Isn't this set so elegant and cute? What a pretty way to change diapers! I seen this set on this video...

And I LOVE it! You can buy it here. They range from $35-40 for the set. They all have wipee cases. The sets either have burp clothes or a changing pad.

Oh, and it matches this Diapees case! So perfect! I just love this print. And the colors. I know, not traditionally a "girly" combo. But they also have it in pink. :)

I would LOVE this set to stick in my purse. You know. For a quick trip to the grocery store or something like that. When you don't want to take a big diaper bag with you. Do you know what I mean?

And the group that Sonia mentioned...I joined that too. It's a great group! And I'm sure that I'm going to use it a lot more when Charlotte is born. Perfect for a breastfeeding-mommy-to-be. H

Hair Bows

Now that I know I'm having a little girl, I want to get her all kinds of girly things. But everything costs so much! And I'm a single Mommy here. With a new house payment. So I really wish I could make these hair bows.

This lady makes them look super easy! But I'm just not that crafty. I've tried. I went through 2 spools of ribbon. The bows look horrible. I guess I have to start paying the $10 for a single bow! Maybe I should practice some more. H

Diapees

I recently found these Diapees. I was looking for some Baby Shower presents. So many of my friends are expecting this year! I just think these cases are so cute! And they're only $15.

I really like this one. It's cute. I like the colors. Girly, but fun! And not too babyish. It's stylish and fun! :)

And this one, it's so sophisticated. I just love the print of this one. I think if I had seen it sooner, I might have done Charlotte's nursery in this fabric. It would have been so cute! And something that she could have grown into.

But I really like these Diapees. I need to place some orders soon. For my friends. And I really want 1 or 2 for myself. A perfect way to throw a few diapers in my purse. H

Polyvore

I joined Polyvore recently. It's kinda fun just to play around on there. It's like adult paper dolls. No lie! I can see myself killing some major time playing. I'm not sure if that's good or bad. But it does make me want to go shopping a lot more...

What do you think? Anyway, you can find me here. I was just looking for something fun. I'm trying to get more into fashion and all that fun stuff. I really like seeing my bestie. Because she has so much style. Maybe this will help me. :)

Memorial Day Dress

I went to lunch with C, my sister in law. That was yesterday. And we decided to go to Old Navy. C wanted to buy some of those t shirts that are on sale. I good deal. But not much available in maternity. I did buy 2 though. But I saw this dress. Actually, the blue one is the one that I saw. But I just bought a blue dress. So I picked up the red one. To wear Monday to the BBQ,

I like this dress because it's made out of cotton material. And I can wash it. After talking to my bestie's stylist, she gave me lots of ideas. I can dress it up or down, with stuff that I have at home. And it was only $26.50. I'm so excited! I'm probably going to wear some flip flops on Monday with this. And maybe some gold jewelry. H

Wearing Ruffles?

I found out this morning that I'm going to a pretty big event tomorrow. It's important. And dressy. If there's anything you should know about me, I wear t shirts and jeans all the time. For my last job, I had to wear polos and khakis 2-3 days a week. And "Business Attire" the rest of the time. It was a good thing that my boss' mom and sister gave me a makeover. Because I didn't know where to look for these clothes. I still can't put my eyeliner on. I miss Lady J!

My new job requires "Business Attire." But what I've learned is that as long as you look nice, they really don't care. I work for a big insurance agency. But all those clothes are at home. 2 hours away. And most, aren't fitting anymore. My belly is all of a sudden popping out.

My bestie and I made a quick run to Target, before she had to work this morning. We found this dress. I really do love it! It's blue. My favorite color. :) It's made out of polyester. But looks much nicer. And it has some stretch to it. Oh, and ruffles. I'm not usually a ruffles kind of woman, but I like these. They go all the way around the neckline. The price was good too, $25. I bought it. When checked online, there are a few different colors. And it says it's an online exclusive. But I found this dress in the store.

That was it, we ran in and I bought it. Then we were off again. I think I'll wear this dress with some kinda dressy sandals that I have. My bestie is going to lend me a clutch and some bracelets. I just learned that's a small bag with no straps. And I have some nice earrings.

I think it will be dressy enough. Especially after seeing what some of the other ladies are wearing. My bestie will be much more dressed up than me. But she has a bunch of clothes to choose from. And she needs to be more dressed up. There you go, my dressed up, maternity outfit. H

Butterfly Kisses

I finally made up my mind. And I ordered the Butterfly Kisses Bedding Set. :) I also bought lots of the extras. I know. I'm a sucker. But I just couldn't resist!

The wall hangings.

3 sets of these butterflies.

A frog humidifier. Never mind how cute it is! :)

9 of these buckets. I figure I can use them for all sorts of things.

The mobile. I'm sure Charlotte will love it!

4 of these curtains. I also bought some sheer curtains, from Target. The kind that cover the entire window.

I bought 4 sheets. I figured that they would come in handy. :)

I got 3 of these cute blankets.

And 3 of these blankets. :)

I know. It's a lot! But Charlotte is going to need it. So I figured I'd get everything right away. I really do love it all! And after talking to my bestie, I'm going to paint the walls lavender. I'm going to leave the trim and wainscoting white. I'm so excited to get everything together for Charlotte! H
